At Mountain Valley Homes we build both. They both are built off site in a climate controlled building center. They both arrive to the home site by a transporter. Modular homes are built to the same state and local codes as a site built home. A manufactured home is the most affordable, more square footage for the price. Manufactured homes meet stringent U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements of durability, strength, fire codes, energy efficiency and overall quality.
